The 1st & 2nd XI’s travel to Egham Leisure Centre, Vicarage Rd, Egham TW20 8NL to take on back to back matches against Ripley Village of the Surrey Elite League. The 2nd’s KO first at 1.00pm and the 1st’s KO afterwards at 3.00pm.
A mixed 3rd/4th XI are playing Parkside FC at Goals., Tolworth at 2.00pm.

The 3rd/4th mixed XI take on Whitton Villians on the 3G Pitch at at Feltham School, Browells Lane, Middlesex,TW13 7EF, kick off is at 3.00pm.

The 1st XI secured a 4 – 2 win against HFC in a very competitive match. The Ruts goals came courtesy of a Zak Graham hatrick and a strike from Daniel Gurney.
The 2nd/3rd/Vets XI edged a high scoring affair 5 – 4 against Selhurst SA’s Reserves. The Ruts goals came thanks to a Ben Kennett hatrick and further goals from Paul Gough and Ross Maslin.

The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

Old Ruts AFC have a total of five junior sides from under 8 up to under 15, including a team for girls, in addition to their four Saturday Mens teams and a Sunday veterans side under the club umbrella.
Youth chairman Daniel Poulter said “This is a great achievement for our football club and another positive step forward. The Charter Status is recognition for the people that work very hard to ensure our club runs so efficiently. All of the people that have volunteered their time deserve a big thank you. Old Ruts AFC is fully committed to providing quality football for players that will ensure the future health of the club”.

The 1st XI overcame HFC 6 – 1 thanks to goals from Zac Graham, Daniel Gurney, Ziyaad Hussein, an OG and a brace from Jimmy Graham.
The 2nd/3rds Mix XI line up with a mixture of debutants, youth and 5 vets overcame Sutton High 2 -1 in a tightly contested affair and it was 2 debutants who made their mark with Diogo Carvalho firing 2 first half goals following assists from Bene Wright. The half time lead slightly flattered the Ruts and Sutton pulled a goal back in the second period and also had Steve Asomaning to thank for a number of decent saves.
