Two mixed Club XI’s played earlier today, as did our Walking Football lads.

In the first match v Worcester Park FC, the lads took an early lead through another decent strike from Jaiden Trevelyen.

However, this was as good as it got for the Ruts as they fell 2 – 1 down shortly before the break, and then conceded again straight after the break. The OR’s struck the cross bar twice as they aimed to reduce the arrears, with Sam Leatherby’s long range effort worthy of a goal. WPFC added a 4th to give the scoreline a slightly more flattering outcome than perhaps it could have been. MOTM TBC.

In the second match versus Old Thorntonians the Ruts eventually drew 3 – 3 thanks to a trio of very well taken goals from debutant Sean Tolson, Jake Lennard and Steve Berry. MOTM TBC.

In the round robin games with Thames FC, the Ruts lost 2 – 0 and 1 – 0, whilst the Ruts v Ruts match finished 2 – 2.
