The 1st XI’s scheduled match Away to Ashtead FC was inexplicably called off, at virtually zero notice. An update on this will follow in due course.

The 2nd XI’s Match at Home to Motspur Park Res FC was Abandoned in the 70th minute. Therefore we cannot comment further until the Referee’s report is forthcoming.

The 3rd XI suffered a 4 – 0 midday KO defeat at Purley Old Boys.

The Walking Football Team had the OR’s Result of the Day as they drew 2 – 2 with Better Sports Village Sutton. John Walker and Peter Gillman scored for the OR’s, with Pete also getting the OR’s MOTM nod for striking home his 50th Old Ruts Goal.

The Sunday XI’s Match has already been called off. However, our best wishes to all of the other Ruts teams of all ages competing in the morning.
