Our return to football saw 2 wins, 2 defeats and a draw!

The 1st XI secured the victories as they overcame Real Holmesdale FC in both matches of the Double Header. The first game saw the OR’s win 1 – 0 courtesy of a neat turn and finish from Kevin Foster which also secured him the MOTM Award.

The second match saw the Ruts run out 3 – 0 Winners thanks to 3 decent strikes. Elliott Gibbs headed home a Lee Holland Corner in the first period, and in the second half Jake Searles deftly scored after winning a great tackle before neatly notching, then Toby Lempriere scored a well placed goal to wrap up a deserved win. Charlie Woods was the OR’s MOTM. So a very valuable 6 points in the bag to help with the 1s promotion challenge.

The 2nd XI suffered a 4 – 2 defeat at Sutton High, with Sam Leatherby and Ryan Kennett scoring for the OR’s. Adam Randall was the OR’s MOTM.

The 3rd XI went down 5 – 2 to Cheam VW FC. Fraser Trimmings converted a penalty and debutant Liam Washford-Bent also scored. Ciaran Moorhouse was the Ruts MOTM.

The 4th XI fought back well from a 3 – 1 half time deficit at Waddon Wanderers FC. The OR’s Scorers were Abdel Hafidi (2) and Simon Minihane. Club Legend Andy Flanagan was the OR’s MOTM.
