Results Round Up – Saturday 10th March 2018.

The 1st XI’s match at home to West Fulham FC was the only one to survive the weather, although their performance overall was under par, with a few passengers being carried, as noted by Manager Nick Raggett, who brought himself off the bench to try and invigorate his team late in the second half.

The visitors took the lead with a great strike midway through the first half and were reduced to 10 men around the 30 minute mark, which left them with an hour to play with a man short. However, in truth and fairness they played incredibly well and most people would not have noticed their deficit.

Duncan Fraser levelled with a trademark header on the cusp of half time and that was the way it remained, making the final score 1 – 1. The match was feisty at times although quite rightly it was hand shakes all around at the end.

Best wishes to the Vets and Junior teams tomorrow.
