Old Ruts Football Club

Old Rutlishians AFC (Old Ruts) is made up of ex-pupils of Rutlish School, amateur sportsman from the local community and the friends and relatives of existing players. It was reformed after a 58 year absence in the summer of 1990 having originally run from 1907 until 1932 when it folded after being replaced by Rugby as the popular winter sport at the Old Rutlishians

The ORAFC Senior Awards Evening will be held at the Clubhouse on Friday the 19th May. Further Details to follow. The AGM Date will be announced shortly.

Votes are NOW DUE – Each player is required to send their 1st and 2nd choice nominations for Player of the Year (for their respective team) and also their Young Player of the Year Vote (Under 21’s only and just 1 vote per player in this section). Votes can be emailed to oldrutlishiansafc@gmail.com

Finally, a MASSIVE Congratulations and well done to Boo’s largely young 4th XI for securing promotion as Runners-Up in their first season since reforming. This combined with a semi final appearance and narrow defeat was a huge credit to the team. If anyone is interested in joining a group of us at the KDFL Presentation Dinner on Friday 26th May then let Gavin Lennard know, the Tickets are £30 per head and it will be a good evening.
