Results Round-Up – 27th August 2016

Not a great day results wise with a number of changes in all of the line-ups.

The 1st XI were unable to fire on all cylinders this week and ultimately paid the price as they went down 2 – 0 in a generally tight game at Woking & Horsell. It was Nil – nil at the break, before the hosts went ahead around the hour mark. With the game seemingly heading that way as a scoreline, the Ruts then had a late red card and were punished further in the final minute when a great long range strike wrapped the game up for WHFC.

The 2nd XI were undone 5 – 1 in the earlier KO against WHFC Reserves. 3 – 0 at the break, with only a consolation Goal by Ciaron Moorhouse to show for their efforts.

The 4th XI suffered a 4 – 1 defeat to a Cheam VW XI which saw Daniel Hughes netting for the OR’s. Star man of the day was the most handsome right-back in Surrey aka MOTM Graham ’49 & stil fit, dandy and handsome’ Larcombe.

Best wished to the Ruts Youth (Junior) teams tomorrow.
